Cafeteria
The hospital cafeteria is located on the first floor across from the reception desk and is available to all visitors during the following times:
- Breakfast: 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
- Lunch: Noon to 1:30 p.m.
Free, fresh coffee is available around the clock.
Parking/Security
Free visitor parking is provided in the hospital lot. Spaces for handicapped parking also are available. While we strive to keep all areas of the hospital secure we are not responsible for vehicle damage, fire or theft while parked in the hospital lot.
Our security staff provides escorts to and from cars 24 hours a day.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours at Kindred Hospital Boston are between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. We will attempt to meet any special requests for visitations due to working hours or family obligations. Please stop at our reception area for room locations or other directions.
Family Concerns
Team Conferences are held every two weeks to discuss a patient's current condition and progress. Families may contact any team member at any time to discuss their loved one's condition and progress. Family-Team meetings can be arranged on request.
Post-Hospital Care
When your physicians decides you may be released from the hospital but still require medical care, you may be discharged to a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center or to home with health services. Our case management department will arrange services you may need after leaving the hospital.
